Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project in the Jira comments, "ASTC_copy copy"
2. Open the "Assets/Scenes/SampleScene" scene
3. Enter Play mode
4. Observe the quad GameObject
Expected result: No console error about data size mismatch, blue quad
Actual result: Console errors, red quad

Note that to succeed with a blue quad and no errors at all, it shouldn't be run on intel mac (doesn't support ASTC formats) or dx11/dx12 (doesn't support converting from ASTC formats).
