UI Builder window elements turn blank when applying a custom font in Play mode

How to reproduce:

1. Open the project "IN-66283_SW6PuzzleGame"
2. Open the “ScoreScene” scene
3. Enter Play mode
4. Navigate to Window → UI Toolkit and open UI Builder
5. In UI Builder → in Hierarchy tab click on “Label #Score-title“, navigate to Inspector → Inlined Styles → Text
6. In Project window navigate to Assets → Thaleah_PixelFont and drag the Fonty.fontsettings into Font (FontAsset) field

Expected result: UI Builder window elements are visible
Actual result: UI Builder window elements turn blank

Reproducible with: 2023.2.0a18, 2023.2.8f1, 2023.3.0b5
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.34f1, 2022.3.19f1, 2023.2.0a17
