Characters are converted to Latin letters when using IME on Linux

Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-88966” project
2. Build and Run the project (File > Build and Run)
3. Type in the input field using IME

Expected result: The IME result is inputted in the Input Field
Actual result: All the characters are converted to Latin letters

Reproducible with: 2021.3.45f1, 2022.3.53f1, 6000.0.30f1, 6000.1.0a7

Reproducible on: Ubuntu 24.04, Ubuntu 22.04
Not reproducible on: Windows 10
