Upgrading to the latest 6.2 version fixes this issue.
Steps to reproduce:
Open project with a Unity version < 6.2
Upgrade project with OpenXR 1.15.0-preview.1
Open Project Settings
Select OpenXR
Select Meta Quest Support
Select the Meta Quest Support Cogwheel button for additional settings
Select the Multiview Render Regions Optimization drop down
Select AllPasses
Close the menu
Observe the Validation rule prompting you to upgrade to "6.2"
Close Project
Upgrade your unity version to any version of 6000.2.x that is less than 6000.2.0b2
Reopen project
Open Project Settings
Open Validation Rules
Fix all remaining rules
Observe
Actual results:
You will see there is no longer a validation rule for Multiview Render Region Optimization requires a specific version. However, it is not supported in these editor versions.
Building a VR project results in the right eye seeming to be cut off
The image on the right is the expected and image on the left is the bug. You can see the right eye texture is a sharp line instead of a rounded edge. This is very obvious inside the HMD.
Notes:
The expected workflow is to upgrade to the latest 6.2 release version and it will fix this bug.
