Search: long search string overlaps displayed placeholder text

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a 3D project
2. Window -> Search -> New Window
3. Enter a long search string manually (don't use copy-paste)
4. Observe the search input field section where it displays the placeholder "Press Tab..."

Expected result: Placeholder message should disappear when the search string hits it.

Actual result:  We get overlapping. The screenshot is added in the "Attachments" section.

Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a15, 2023.1.0b11, 2023.2.0a9.

Not Reproducible with: 2021.3.22f1, 2022.2.14f1, 2023.1.0a14.

Cannot test with: 2020.3.46f1 (this stream has no this window).
