Items sometimes disappear when hovering over menu items

Reproduction steps:

1. Create a new project
2. Right-click the Project window or the Hierarchy window
3. Hover over expandable items
4. Repeat step 3 over different menu items

Expected result: Hovered items do not disappear

Actual result: Hovered items sometimes disappear
