Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached "repro_IN-77229" project
2. In the "Assets" folder, select the "Circle.png" and press the "Open Sprite Editor" button, located in the Inspector
3. Expand the dropdown, located in the top-left of the "Sprite Editor" tab, and select "Custom Outline"
4. Notice the current outline shape of the circle while the "Outline Detail" parameter, located in the "Outline Tool" window (which is in the bottom-right of the "Sprite Editor" tab), is set to 0.2
5. In the "Assets" folder, select the "Triangle.png"
6. In the "Outline Tool" window, press the "Copy" button
7. In the "Assets" folder, select the "Circle.png"
8. In the "Outline Tool" window, press the "Paste" button
9. Press the "Generate" button
Expected result: The outline shape goes back to the original one
Actual result: The outline shape doesn't go back to the original one
Reproducible with: 2021.3.39f1, 2022.3.31f1, 6000.0.4f1
Reproducible on: Windows 11 (10.0.22631) (user's), Windows 10 (22H2)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- In the 6000.0.4f1, after step 8, notice that the "Outline Detail" parameter value is not updated
- If you refresh the "Outline Tool" parameter sliders by clicking on any empty space in the "Custom Outline" tab, then select the circle again, you'll see that the "Outline Detail" parameter is 0
