How to reproduce:
- Create a new project
- Open the AI Assistant window
- Observe the window and Console
Actual result: AI Assistant chat is unavailable and errors appear in the Console ("Unable to connect to the remote server")
Expected result: AI Assistant chat is available and no errors appear in the Console
Reproducible with: 2.7.0-pre.3 (6000.4.6f1), 2.9.0-pre.1 (6000.4.7f1)
Reproducible on: Windows 10
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- CQA was unable to reproduce the issue locally
- AI Assistant message:
“Chat is unavailable. Relay connection was lost.”
- Error in the Console:
“connection.state_change
oldState=Connecting newState=Failed error=WebSocketException: Unable to connect to the remote server (after 10 attempts)”
- There is also a message in the MCP client (Project Settings > AI > Assistant MCP):
“The MCP client is initializing. Awaiting initialization to complete...”
