Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “BugRepro” project
2. Build the Player (File > Build Profiles > Build)
3. Run the built Player
4. Observe the crash
Reproducible with: 6000.3.16f1, 6000.4.9f1 , 6000.5.0b10, 6000.6.0a6
Couldn't test with: 6000.0.76f1 (Could not resolve compilation errors)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note:
- The crash does not occur when the GameObject reference is assigned correctly and there is no Type Mismatch
- This issue reproduces with both IL2CPP and Mono scripting backends
