Reproduction steps:
1. Make sure you have HDR enabled (“Display settings → Use HDR → On“ on Windows)
2. Open the attached “repro_IN-87676“ project
3. Make sure that “Direct3D12” is set as the default graphics API (“Edit → Project Settings… → Player → Other Settings → Rendering → Graphics API for Windows“)
4. Build the “Assets/OutdoorsScene.unity“ Scene on the Windows platform
5. Open the built .exe
6. In the Player, press the 'E' button on your keyboard a few times
7. Observe the crash
Reproducible with: 2021.3.47f1, 2022.3.55f1, 6000.0.33f1, 6000.1.0b1
Reproducible on: Windows 10 (22H2). Windows 11 (23H2) (reporter’s environment)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
