Since there is no light nor emissive material, the only remaining source of light is the Sky. Since it is set to be physical sky, no light is produced from there either without any additional light source, hence why the scene is black and why results may differ with other types of sky.

Reproduction steps:
1. Create a new High Definition 3D project
2. Disable all of the GameObjects in the Hierarchy except for Main Camera and Sky and Fog Volume
3. Observe Scene and Game views

Actual result: Scene and Game views render black
Expected result: Nothing of note happens

Reproducible with: 2021.3.56f1, 2022.3.67f1, 6000.0.58f1, 6000.2.6f1, 6000.3.0b4, 6000.4.0a1

Reproduced on: Ubuntu 24.04, macOS Sequoia 15.6 (Intel)

Note: Issue is only reproducible when Sky type is set to Physically Based Sky (Sky and Fog Volume > Inspector > Volume > Visual Environment)
