Search: Using ReuseWindow SearchFlags won't create a new window and won't change its position.
Steps to reproduce:
Open a Unity project
Open a Search All window using the magnifying glass icon in top right of editor or the shortcut ctrl + k
Open an additional search window using Window > Search > New Window
Move the Search All window to a place of your choosing that is away from the additional window
Navigate back to the Search All window using the magnifying glass icon in the top right of editor or the shortcut ctrl + k
Actual results: As well as being selected, the Search All window will move to the position of the most recently opened additional window (the one opened in step 3).
Expected results: The Search All window will be selected and remain in its current position.
Reproducible with versions:
6000.0.10f1
2023.2.20f1
2022.3.36f1
2021.3.40f1
Not reproducible with versions:
Can’t test with versions:
Tested on (OS): Windows 11
Notes:
This is especially notable when you have an additional search window permanently docked for ease of use, and want the main Search All window to stay in a specific place (e.g. on a second monitor).
