Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project using Universal 3D Template
2. In Hierarchy window create a Cube GameObject
3. Open new Search window
4. In Search window > Narrow your search > select “in Hierarchy”
5. Select “ref [None (Object)]” query
6. In search field > “ref” query select “Cube”
7. In search field > click on select button again in “ref” query
8. Observe the Cube preview image in Search window
Actual results: After clicking the selection button a second time on the “ref” query with Cube selected, the Cube preview image in the Search window is rendered in white, the Cube is not visible
Expected results: Clicking the selection button on the “ref” query should render the Cube preview image, Cube is fully visible with it’s default grey material, proper shading and lighting etc.
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.76f1, 6000.3.16f1, 6000.4.9f1, 6000.5.0b10, 6000.6.0a6
