Cancelling this port, as the issue will be addressed in the 6000.0.x port
Cancelling this 2023.2 tech release issue since the support for this release has come to end of life. Cancelling this 2023.2 port case does not affect any LTS or Unity 6 Beta/Preview that remain open.
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “repro-project“
2. Open the “Assets/Assets/Scenes/MVP/Scene_Game_MVP.unity“ scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Focus on the Scene View by selecting it
5. Exit Play Mode
6. Observe the crash
Reproducible with: 2023.2.11f1, 2023.3.0b8
Could not test with: 2021.3.35f1, 2022.3.20f1 (due to assembly and coding errors when downgrading the project)
Reproduced on: Windows 10
Not reproducible on: macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (Intel)
