Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Unity project using a 3D Universal Template
- Go to Assets > Create > Animation > Animator Controller
- Open the created animator controller
- In the Layers tab, select the "Base Layer"
- In the Inspector, rename it
- Observe the Layers tab
Actual results: The layer name remains unchanged in the Layers tab
Expected results: The layer name updates in the Layers tab
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.67f1, 6000.3.7f1, 6000.4.0b7, 6000.5.0a6
Tested on (OS): Windows 11
Notes:
- Changing the name from the Layers tab, changes both fields
