Project Browser shows the Asset folder empty when Select Dependencies is clicked without any asset selected

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
2. Click somewhere on the empty space in the Project Browser to make sure no asset is selected
3. Click Select Dependencies (Assets > Select Dependencies)
4. Observe the Project Browser

Actual results: The Project Browser is showing the Assets folder empty until switching to a different folder

Expected results: Either disable the Select Dependencies functionality, or throw a warning or a popup when no asset is selected

Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.54f1, 6000.1.14f1, 6000.2.0b12, 6000.3.0a3

Tested on (OS): macOS Silicon Sequoia 15.5

Notes:

• This can be very confusing for users to see the main Assets folder as empty when it is never empty
