This is a problem in the PhysX version that is being used.
Cancelling this 2023.2 tech release issue since the support for this release has come to end of life. Cancelling this 2023.2 port case does not affect any LTS or Unity 6 Beta/Preview that remain open.
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “BoxcastNormalsAreWrong.zip” project
2. Enter Play Mode
3. In the Scene window, observe the red normal on “LevelMesh” GameObject
Expected result: Red and Green normals are showing the same direction
Actual result: Red and Green normals are showing different directions
