Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new 2D URP project
- Go to Project Settings > Editor > Sprite Atlas > Mode
- Change Mode dropdown to Sprite Atlas V2 ("Enabled" or "Enabled for Builds)
- In the Project window, right-click > Create > 2D > Sprite Atlas
- Click Enter to confirm name
- Observe the Inspector
Actual results: The newly created Sprite Atlas is not automatically selected in the Inspector and Project window
Expected results: Sprite Atlas is automatically selected and its properties are visible in the Inspector
Reproducible with versions: 2023.1.0a4, 6000.0.72f1, 6000.3.14f1, 6000.4.4f1, 6000.5.0b6, 6000.6.0a4
Tested on (OS): macOS 26.4
Notes:
- All Assets usually are auto selected when created
- Does not reproduce when Sprite Atlas Mode is V1 or Disabled
