"Unknown error occurred..." is thrown when opening an empty Scene

How to reproduce:
1. Open the user-attached project
2. Open the “MainMenu” Scene
3. Open the Console window

Expected result: Detailed error is thrown
Actual result: “Unknown error occurred while loading

{Scene}

” is thrown

Reproducible with: 2020.3.40f1, 2021.3.11f1, 2022.1.20f1, 2022.2.0b10, 2023.1.0a14

Reproduced on: macOS Monterey 12.6 (Intel)

Workaround:
1. Open the affected Scene
2. Add any GameObject to the Scene
3. Clear the Console
4. Switch Scenes

Note:

• Only the 2020.3 stream has the issue constantly reproducible when opening the Scene
• To verify if the issue is reproducible with every test the project was deleted, extracted and re-opened
