Steps to reproduce:

Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
Create a new Terrain (GameObject > 3D Object > Terrain)
Select the newly created Terrain in the Hierarchy window
Enable Paint Details in the Inspector window
Make sure the Brush Masks overlay is docked on the left side of the Scene View
Open the Brush Masks overlay
Click the "New Brush" button and select any texture
Select the newly created Brush in the Brush Masks overlay
Click the "Open" button
Observe the Brush Masks overlay

Actual results: Brush Masks overlay is empty

Expected results: Brush Masks overlay is disabled

Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.74f1, 6000.3.14f1, 6000.4.5f1, 6000.5.0b6, 6000.6.0a4

Can’t test with versions: 2023.1.0a3 (due to a crash on creating the Terrain)

Tested on (OS): MacOS Silicon Tahoe 26.3, Ubuntu 24.04
