Clear settings dropdown is not working in the Console window

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open any project
2. Go to the Console window (Window > General > Console)
3. Click the arrow next to the Clear button (top left)

Expected result: Clear settings are displayed
Actual result: nothing happens

Note: this is reproducible, to a more limited extent, with Pivot and Global dropdowns in the Scene view as well.
Note 2: Only reproducible on Mac Intel
