Unchecking and checking the the "Author" fields doesn't preserve the previous values

This is actually as designed by the behaviour of the IMGUI implementation of the Inspector window. BUT the Package Manager team will investigate how they can improve it in a general task "Rework errors shown in the Inspector while editing a package manifest"

How to reproduce:
1. Create a new Unity project
2. Open the Package Manager (Window -> Package Management -> Package Manager)
3. Click the "+" button -> Create package
4. Go to Manage -> Edit Manifest
5. Click "Open" in the Inspector to open the package json file
6. Navigate to the "Author" checkbox in Inspector
7. Uncheck the "Author" checkbox and check it again
8. Observe the fields

Expected results: The fields are populated with the previous values
Actual results: The fields are empty

Reproducible with: 6000.3.0a4
Can't test with: 6000.0.55f1, 6000.1.15f1, 6000.2.0f1 (no such functionality)

Reproducible on: Windows 11 Pro
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
