Various parts of the UI behave like this (i.e. see the package manager window)
Windows have a minimum width before they start clipping.
We looked at adding a scrollbar but it felt like the wrong UX.
Unity 6000.2 has reached its end of life and will not receive further updates. If you need additional fixes, please upgrade to a newer Unity version.
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new Unity project
2. Go to Window -> Analysis -> Project Auditor -> Start Analysis
3. Go to Shaders -> Shader Variants
4. Narrow down the window so the text in the "Information" section doesn't fit horizontally
5. Try to scroll the "Information" horizontally
Expected results: The scrollbar exists and the full text can be seen by scrolling
Actual results: The area is unscrollable
