Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project using Universal 3D template
2. In Hierarchy window create Particle System (GameObject > Effects > Particle System)
3. Observe the rendered material in the Scene view
4. Create new Unity project using High Definition 3D Template
5. Repeate steps 2 and 3
Actual results: In HDRP, Scene and Game view, particles are rendered as squares
Expected results: In HDRP, Scene and Game view, particles are rendered as circles
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.54f1, 6000.1.16f1, 6000.2.0f1, 6000.3.0a4
Tested on (OS): macOS Silicon, Sequoia 15.5 (M1)
