rejecting since this is already fixed in 6.3 and ifx cannot be backported
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
Create a new Cube GameObject (GameObject > 3D Object > Cube)
Open the Animation window (Window > Animation > Animation)
Dock the Animation window
Create a new Animation
Delete the Cube GameObject
Observe the Animation window
Actual results: The Animation window still shows the Cube's Animation
Expected results: The Animation disappears from the Animation window and "No animatable object selected." text is shown
Reproducible with versions: 2022.3.66f1, 6000.0.58f1, 6000.1.16f1, 6000.2.4f1
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a1, 6000.3.0b1
Tested on (OS): macOS Silicon Sequoia 15.6.1
Notes:
6000.3 seems to be unaffected by this issue
The Animation window updates when mouse cursor is hovered over it after reproduction
