How to reproduce:
1. Open the “ReproProject“ project
2. Click on the map icon on the top Toolbar
3. Click on the “Edit map 'Map_01.scenario'“
4. After it loads exit the Play Mode
5. In the Memory Profiler Capture a Snapshot
6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 two more times
7. Compare Snapshots “Snapshot1“ and “Snapshot2“
8. Take note of the Size Difference in “Managed/Reserved“
9. Repeat steps 7 through 8 with “Snapshot2“ and “Snapshot3“
Expected result: No reserved memory increase
Actual result: Reserved memory increased with every “Edit map 'Map_01.scenario'“ load
Reproducible with: 2023.2.20f1, 6000.0.0f1
Could not test with: 2021.3.37f1, 2022.3.26f1 (Not able to resolve the package errors)
Reproducible on: macOS 13.5.2 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: Windows 10 Pro (22H2)
Notes:
- Reproduction steps 2-3 can be seen in the screenshot “Reproduce steps.png“ in the internal note
- Memory increase is from around 300MB to 500MB every time
- After loading the “Edit map 'Map_01.scenario'“ several times the Reserved Memory grows up to 30GB and the Editor becomes slow to respond
- Restarting the Editor return the Reserved Memory to its original state
- The custom Toolbar may not load for the first time, to fix it close and open the project again
