My team and I have attempted to reproduce this issue on and off for the past couple of months with no success. I gave it one last attempt today with my Quest 3 and a variety of Input System versions, Unity 6.3 and 2 different Bluetooth mice. I was always able to see the ACTION Performed log event over logcat. I noticed that the project you sent over has a MouseControlScheme setup in the bindings and I was wondering if you are using Control Schemes in your project. I have seen similar situations in the past when combining a VR Control Scheme and a Keyboard/Mouse Control Scheme, where the PlayerInput or another similar script handles the automatic switching between control schemes when it detects them in use. This is typically to support live switching input schemes when someone changes to gamepad vs keyboard/mouse or a joystick, etc. When they get doubled up, especially with something like a separate VR control scheme, it continues to try and swap to it. If that happens, the input actions are ignored/disabled when the control scheme is inactive to save on CPU cycles. However, if there is active input, such as with the mouse moving or the right button being held down, this will cause the control scheme to become active, where the left button is now detected every click. This is a feature of the Input System and does not exist in the Legacy Input Manager, which is why you don't see it happening there. I hope this explanation helps. We will close this case for now. If you're able to share additional details such as different projects, steps, hardware/software configuration, or logs - please let us know, and we'll be happy to re-evaluate. Thank you and good luck with your project,
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project “ReproProject“
2. Connect a Meta Quest headset to the PC
3. Connect a Bluetooth mouse to the Meta Quest device
4. Switch to Android platform (File → Build Profiles → Select Android platform in the “Platforms” list on the left, press on the “Switch Platform” button in the bottom right corner of the window)
5. Build & Run the “SampleScene“ scene (File → Build Profiles → press on the “Build&Run“ button in the bottom right corner of the window)
6. Try to click on the left mouse button in Player
7. Observe the results in the logs (for example in logcat)
Expected result: The click is registered in the logs, specifically log “ACTION performed“
Actual result: Nothing appears in the logs after clicking
