Cancelling this 2023.2 tech release issue since the support for this release has come to end of life. Cancelling this 2023.2 port case does not affect any LTS or Unity 6 Beta/Preview that remain open.
The ARC window should update to show the current ARC asset on an audio source when highlighting a game object in the Hierarchy. This happens only the first time the user changes a resource. If the game object stays highlighted, subsequent resource changes will not redraw the window.
Repro
Create a game object with an audio source component using an ARC
Open the ARC window
Keep the game object highlighted throughout the rest of the steps
Set the resource to a different ARC and observe the ARC window
Change the resource again and observe the ARC window
Expected: The ARC window shows the currently referenced resource
Actual: The ARC window shows the previously referenced resource

This applies to any methods of changing resource on an audio source as shown in the screen recordings
