Thank you for reporting a bug to Unity. We have reviewed the issue carefully, and in this case, the team is unable to prioritize fixing this bug. There are a number of reasons we make this decision, including the impact and severity of the issue across our user and customer base, and the possibility that future plans may solve the problem in a different way, or that a workaround for the bug may be available. Today we will be closing this case. Thank you again for taking the time to report this issue, and please let us know if there is anything else that changes the impact or severity of this issue.
How to reproduce:
Actual result: Clicking "Open" forces a context switch. The user must manually add the pass to the global order list, and then manually re-select their original GameObject in the hierarchy to resume tweaking their settings
Expected result: The workflow is streamlined to keep the user in the context of their Scene Volume. For example, replacing the "Open" button with an "Auto-Add / Fix" button that silently appends the pass to the global list
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a1, 6000.0.74f1, 6000.3.14f1, 6000.4.5f1, 6000.5.0b6, 6000.6.0a4
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note: Users find it conceptually confusing that they must manually manage a global order list just to test a pass
