Steps to reproduce:
- Make sure you have two monitors available for testing
- Set up the secondary monitor to the right of the main monitor with a different DPI scale than the primary, i.e. primary 100% and secondary 125%
- Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
- Right-click in Hierarchy > Light > Spot Light (or any other GO that has color picker property)
- From the Inspector, click on the Eyedropper Tool in the Color property
- Hover the cursor over any visible color on the secondary display
- Click to select color
- Observe the Color property
Actual results: Eyedropper does not correctly detect colors when hovered and the color that is clicked on does not get selected
Expected results: The color gets correctly selected
Reproducible with versions: 6000.4.0a2, 6000.4.0b3, 6000.5.0a4
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.0.65f1, 6000.3.3f1, 6000.4.0a1
Tested on (OS): Windows 11
Notes:
- Reproduces with any color picker field
- Also reproduces with the eyedropper tool inside the pop-up Color window that opens when clicking on color bar
- Could not reproduce when the secondary monitor is placed to the left of the main display or the main display
- Doesn't reproduce if the both displays have 100% scaling
- Pixels on the primary display detected correctly
