Cancelling wrongly created port, the fix is still planned for 6.6
Unity 6000.2 has reached its end of life and will not receive further updates. If you need additional fixes, please upgrade to a newer Unity version.
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project "IN-125744"
2. In the Project window, navigate to the “Assets/AssetTest” folder
3. Select all Assets and duplicate them
4. In the Project window, select one of the new copies
5. Observe the Inspector
Actual result: Assigned Label and AssetBundle is not copied to new asset
Expected result: Assigned Label and AssetBundle is copied
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note:
both Label and AssetBundle are copied when duplicating Texture 2D, Shader, Script, Scene or Prefab
Label and AssetBundle are not copied when duplicating Animation Clip, Animation Controller, Lighting Settings, Material, Physics Material, Render Texture, no other asset types tested
