Thank you for reporting a bug to Unity. We have reviewed the issue carefully, and in this case, the team is unable to prioritize fixing this bug. There are a number of reasons we make this decision, including the impact and severity of the issue across our user and customer base, and the possibility that future plans may solve the problem in a different way, or that a workaround for the bug may be available. Today we will be closing this case. Thank you again for taking the time to report this issue, and please let us know if there is anything else that changes the impact or severity of this issue.

How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-136474.zip” project
2. Open the “__Test” scene
3. In the Hierarchy tab, select the “Character” GameObject
4. In the Inspector tab, click and open the “Character.cs“ script
5. Make any change to the script
6. Save the script
7. Observe the Unity Editor
Actual result: Editor freezes on “Reloading Domain” and crashes after a minute
Expected result: Editor compiles all scripts successfully
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a5, 6000.0.72f1, 6000.3.12f1, 6000.4.2f1, 6000.5.0b3, 6000.6.0a2
Reproducible on: macOS 15.3.2 (24D81) (M1 Max)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes: Commenting out the [SerializeReference] module list in “ControllerCore.cs” fixes the crash
