Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-95207.zip” project
2. From the Project Window select Assets > Atlases > “Sprite Atlas Variant.spriteatlasv2”
3. In the Inspector, make the Preview of the Texture as big as possible for better visibility
4. Observe the “MainTex” Texture in the Preview
5. In the Preview Window switch from “MainTex” to “_16Bit”
6. Observe the “_16Bit” Texture in the Preview
Expected result: The “_16Bit” Texture Preview does not have a banding effect and is different from the “MainTex” (8-bit)
Actual result: No difference is visible between the “MainTex” (8-bit) and “_16Bit” (16-bit) textures and the banding effect is still visible with the 16-bit texture
