Reproduction steps:
1. Open the user’s attached project
2. Make sure that in Edit > Preferences > Visual effects Experimental features are enabled
3. Create a Shader graph by right-clicking in the Project window Create > Shader Graph > VFX Shader Graph
4. Open the new Shader Graph and change Material to Lit
5. Create a VFX graph by right-clicking in the Project window Create > Visual Effects > Visual Effect Graph
6. Open the created VFX graph and add “Output Particle HDRP Lit Mesh” Node
7. Drag the “New Shader Graph“ to “Shader Graph” in “Output Particle HDRP Lit Mesh” Node
Expected result: Shader Graph is added to Node
Actual result: Editor Crashes
Reproducible with: 14.0.3(2022.2.0b2, 2022.2.0b8), 15.0.1 (2023.1.0a10)
Not reproducible with: 12.1.7 (2021.3.9f1), 13.1.8 (2022.1.16f1), 14.0.2 (2022.2.0a14, 2022.2.0b1)
Could not test with: 10.10.0 (2020.3.39f1) - no “Output Particle HDRP Lit Mesh” Node
Reproducible on: Windows 10, macOS Monterey 12.5 (M1 Max)
Note: The reproduction rate is about 50-70% and is very inconsistent, sometimes it is needed to wait or navigate the Editor for the crash to happen.
