Cancelling this 2023.2 tech release issue since the support for this release has come to end of life. Cancelling this 2023.2 port case does not affect any LTS or Unity 6 Beta/Preview that remain open.

This Unity version will no longer be receiving patch updates.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any HDRP project
2. Create a Custom Pass Volume (RMB in the Hierarchy>Volume>Custom Pass)
3. Add an Object ID Custom Pass to the Custom Pass list
4. Type in a name for the newly added Custom Pass

Actual result: the Editor crashes
Expected result: the Editor does not crash

Reproducible with: 2022.2.0a1, 2022.1.0a11, 2023.1.0a2, 2023.2.0a11
Not reproducible with: 2022.1.0a10

Note: the issue seems to appear in HDRP 13.0.0
