Creating a Light while the Light Search Window is open on an HDRP project throws a NullReferenceException

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the attached project
2. Open and dock a Lighting Search window, if it is not present
3. Right-click in the Hierarchy window
4. Select a Point light
5. Observe the Console window

Actual results: NullReferenceException is thrown

Expected results: No errors or warnings are thrown after creating a Light object

Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a3

Not reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0b3, 6000.3.0a2

Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.72f1, 6000.3.13f1, 6000.4.2f1 (Light search window is not available)

Tested on (OS): macOS 26.3.1
