How to reproduce:
1. Create and open a new project
2. Create a new Material
3. Change the Materials shader to “unlit/color”
4. Open Render Pipeline Converter (Window > Rendering > Render Pipeline Converter)
5. Toggle on Material Shader Converter option
6. Scan for materials
7. Attempt to convert
8. Observe the Render Pipeline Converter
Actual result: The material shaders are not upgraded and warnings are shown next to the materials
Expected result: The material shaders are upgraded
Reproducible with: 6000.5.0a1, 6000.5.0b8, 6000.6.0a5
Couldn’t test with: 6000.0.75f1, 6000.3.16f1, 6000.4.7f1 (Materials are not found by Pipeline Converter)
Reproducible on: macOS 26.4 (M1 Pro)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note: Affects other shaders as well, such as “unlit/depthonly”, “unlit/texture”, “unlit/transparent”, etc.
