Steps to reproduce:
- Create and open a new project
- Import the "CalibriBold SDF-2.asset" and "CalibriBold.ttf" into the project
- Create and open a new UXML file in UI Builder
- Create a Label in the UI Builder's Hierarchy and select it
- Expand the "Text" foldout in the Inspector
- Change the Font type to "Font Asset"
- Assign the imported Font Asset in the Object field
- Expand the "Text Effects" and type "-1" into the Outline Width field
- Observe the UI Builder's viewport
Actual results: Artifacts are visible around each letter
Expected results: No artifacts are rendered
Reproducible with versions: 6000.5.2f1, 6000.6.0a1, 6000.6.0b1, 6000.7.0a1
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.0.78f1, 6000.3.19f1, 6000.5.0a7
Tested on (OS): Windows 11 Pro
Notes:
- Text is rendered with artifacts in the Scene view/Game view as well
- Without an outline, the text might not render when the Font Asset is assigned
- A positive outline does not produce the artifacts
