Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Open the Font Asset Creator (Window → TextMeshPro → Font Asset Creator
3. When the TMP Importer appears, press “Import TMP Essentials”
4. Close the TMP Importer window
5. Observe the Console window
Actual result: “TextMesh Pro Essential Resources are missing…” error is thrown
Expected result: No errors are thrown
Reproducible with: 6000.0.0f1, 6000.0.79f1, 6000.3.20f1, 6000.5.4f1, 6000.6.0b4, 6000.7.0a2
Reproducible on: macOS Sequoia 15.7.5 (M1 Max)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Deleting the Assets/TextMeshPro folder and reimporting essentials reproduces the issue again
- Using Window → TextMeshPro → Import TMP Essential Resources window does not reproduce the issue
