All simulated input events in Play Mode tests are silently discarded when event timestamps cross exitEditModeTime

Reproduction steps:

1. Open the attached “IN-148638” project
2. Open the Test Runner window
3. Run the Test
4. Observe the result

Actual result: The test fails
Expected result: The test passes

Reproducible with: 1.19.0 (6000.0.78f1, 6000.3.16f1, 6000.7.0a3)

Reproducible on: macOS 15.7.7 (by reporter), macOS 26.5.2
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested

Workaround: Reset the transition timestamps per test via reflection — zeroing exitEditModeTime short-circuits the guard (> 0 condition).
