How to reproduce:
1. Open Unity Hub
2. Install Unity Editor version 6000.7.0a2 via Installs → Install Editor → Pre-releases
3. In the Installs tab, locate the installed Unity Editor and add the “Mac Build Support (CoreCLR) (Experimental)” module via Manage → Add modules
4. After the module installation is completed, navigate to “/Applications/Unity/Hub/Editor/6000.7.0a2/PlaybackEngines”
5. Observe the folder's contents
Actual result: The “Mac Build Support (CoreCLR) (Experimental)” module folder is missing even though the installation was reported as completed
Expected result: The “Mac Build Support (CoreCLR) (Experimental)” module was installed successfully
Reproducible with: 3.19.5
Reproducible on: macOS (M4) (26.5.2)
Not reproducible on: Windows 11
Workaround: Install both the Unity Editor and the “Mac Build Support (CoreCLR) (Experimental)” module via the Unity download archive
