Reproduction steps:
1. Create a new project
2. Create > Smart Strings > Variables Group
3. Observe the Console

Actual result: "No script asset for VariablesGroupAsset. Check that the definition is in a file of the same name and that it compiles properly." warning is thrown
Expected result: No warnings are thrown

Reproducible with: 6000.7.0a4
Couldn’t reproduce with: 6000.0.81f1, 6000.3.21f1, 6000.5.7f1, 6000.6.0b7, 6000.7.0a3 (No Variables Group Asset)

Reproduced on: Ubuntu 24.04, macOS Tahoe 26.5 (M4)

Note: Issue is not reproducible when creating Variables Group Asset via Create > Localization > Variables Group with the Localization package installed
