How to Reproduce:
1. Go to windows Settings -> System → Display
2. Turn on HDR
3. Open the attached “IN-148306” project
4. Open the Game view
5. Go to Edit → Project Settings → Player → Other Settings
6. Switch “Swap Chain Bit Depth” from “Bit Depth 16” to “Bit Depth 10”
7. Observe the Game view
Actual Result: The Game view appears highly saturated, underexposed and with rough sky and lighting
Expected Result: The Game view appears properly saturated and with proper sky and lighting
Reproducible with: 6000.0.0f1, 6000.0.80f1, 6000.3.21f1, 6000.5.6f1, 6000.6.0b6, 6000.7.0a4
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- This issue only reproduces when Direct3D12 is first in List of Graphics API for Windows or it is the only one
- Switching to Scene view and then Switching back to Game view fixes the issue
- On Main Camera, if you turn HDR Rendering to “Use settings from Render Pipeline Asset” and HDR Output to “Off” then the Game view becomes very dark and if you turn HDR Rendering to “Use settings from Render Pipeline Asset” and HDR Output to “Use Project Settings”, the Game view becomes very bright
- If issue does not reproduces, add or remove other “Graphic API for windows” without removing or changing position of Direct3D12 and keeping “Swap Chain Bit Depth” to “Bit Depth 10”
