Steps to reproduce:
- Create and open a new project
- In Hierarchy, right-click, then navigate 'UI Toolkit -> Standard Elements -> Button' to open a new UXML in Hierarchy UI Stage
- Select the button in Hierarchy
- Hover over the button in UI Viewport
- Observe the cursor while hovering
Actual results: Cursor with a move icon is displayed
Expected results: Plain cursor is displayed
Reproducible with versions: 6000.6.0b1, 6000.6.0b10, 6000.7.0a5
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.82f1, 6000.3.23f1, 6000.5.10f1, 6000.6.0a6 (No UI Stage in Hierarchy)
Tested on (OS): Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
Notes:
- This is most of the time reproducible when opening the project with the UXML opened, or when the UXML is first created and Elements added
- Not reproducible in UI Builder
- This can sort of be worked around by switching the Position Mode to Absolute and back to Relative
- The cursor with the move icon will return, if Play Mode is entered
