Cancelling this 2023.2 port issue since the support for this release has come to the end of life. Cancelling this 2023.2 port case does not affect any LTS or Unity 6 Beta/Preview case that remain open or in-progress.
2023.1 is no longer supported, this port was created in error.
How to reproduce:
Open any HDRP Project
Navigate to Window > Analysis > Rendering Debugger
From the menu list choose "Rendering"
Have Game View Open with a Directional Light in the Scene
In the Dropdown Menu for "Mip Maps" choose any of the Debug View modes
Observe Game View
Actual result: Game View is white if the Directional Light is enabled
Expected result: With Lighting Settings not changed by default, Mip Map Debugging View should not include Lights. This is fixed with Unity 6 and new Mip Map Debugging.
