How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-93640” project
2. Build the WebGL player
3. Host the Player (Open the build folder in the Terminal and use the command: “python3 -m http.server <port>”
On a phone:
4. Open the Player by entering the host’s <ip_address>:<port> in the Chrome web browser inside the phone
5. Touch screen and move finger rapidly
6. Observe the number on the first line, above “refreshRate”
On a desktop:
4. Open the Chrome web browser
5. Open the “Dev Tools” (by pressing F12)
6. Toggle Device Toolbar (Ctrl+Shift+M or Command+Shift+M)
7. In Performance settings, set CPU throttling to 4x slowdown
8. Move the cursor over the Player area
9. Observe the number on the first line, above “refreshRate”
Expected result: The fps stays stable
Actual result: The fps drops by 5-20 while mouse is being moved
Reproducible with: 2022.1.0a3, 2022.3.60f1, 6000.0.42f1, 6000.1.0b11, 6000.2.0a7
Reproducible on: macOS 15.3.2 (M3 Max) using Chrome
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
