Safeguards have been added in URP 2D to prevent dimensions from dropping below 1x1 even when using lightRenderScale inferior to 1.0f. Thanks for your feedback
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the “IN-84162.zip” project
2. Make sure the Scene view is opened
3. Make sure that the “Graphics” → “Render graph” → “Compatibility mode” checkbox is unchecked in the Project settings
4. Try to minimize the Scene view as much as possible by enlarging other views
Expected results: No errors appear in the Console
Actual results: “ArgumentException: Texture using Explicit size mode was create with either width or height at zero” error appears in the Console
Reproducible with: 6000.0.7f1, 6000.0.19f1
Not reproducible with: 60000.0.6f1
Could not test with: 2021.3.43f1, 2022.3.46f1 (“Compatibility mode” checkbox is not available in the Project settings)
Reproducible on: macOS 14.6.1 (M1 Max)
Not reproducible on: Windows 11
