2022.1 has reached end of life so the issue will be fixed in a newer version.
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the user’s attached “GPULightProbeVisualization.zip“ project
2. Open the “SampleScene” scene
3. Open the Lighting window (Window > Rendering > Lighting)
4. Set Lightmapper to “Progressive GPU (Preview)”
5. Click “Generate Lighting”
6. Select the “Sphere” GameObject and observe its light probe visualization
Expected result: The visualized occlusion is smooth
Actual result: The visualized occlusion is not smooth
