Reproduction steps:
1. Make sure you have a machine with a Windows ARM processor
2. Create any new project
3. From the Package Manager, install the Version Control package
4. Open the Version Control Window
5. Click “Create Workspace”
6. Observe the Console
Expected result: The workspace is created and no errors are present
Actual result: “Failed to load 'C:/Users/.../Library/PackageCache/com.unity.collab-proxy@c854d1f7d97f/Lib/Editor/zlib64Plastic.dll', expected ARM64 architecture, but was x64 architecture. You must recompile your plugin for ARM64 architecture." error, and the workspace is not created
Reproducible with: 2.6.0 (6000.2.0a4), 2.8.2 (6000.0.55f1, 6000.2.0f1, 6000.3.0a4)
Couldn’t test with: 2022.3.65f1 (ARM not supported)
Reproducible on: Windows 11 (Surface Pro 9)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note:
- Changing versions sometimes makes the workspace selected/created correctly, but then the issue reproduces when trying to Check in the changes. Pressing Check In also shows additional pop up with an error
