Editor freeze/out of memory when recompiling specific scripts

Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “ReproProj” project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity” Scene
3. Enter the Play Mode

Expected result: The scripts are recompiled
Actual result: The Editor freezes

Reproducible with: 2021.3.50f1, 2022.3.61f1, 6000.0.46f1, 6000.1.0b14, 6000.2.0a9 (1f9e5cde43d1)

Reproducible on: macOS 14.6.1 (M1 Max), Windows 10
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
